Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a pregnant woman who they say disappeared outside her Fargo, North Dakota, apartment Saturday afternoon.
Savanna Lafontaine-Greywind’s family revealed to KVLY that the 22-year-old is eight months pregnant. Lafontaine-Greywind was last seen between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Saturday outside her North Fargo apartment building. Her family said she was having a text conversation with her boyfriend but had stopped responding, according to WDAY.
Lafontaine-Greywind’s mother told the local station that her daughter went to a neighbor’s to model a dress on the afternoon in question. Her family became concerned at 5:30 p.m. after she didn’t respond to their calls and texts. The missing woman’s mother claimed she talked to the neighbor, who said that Lafontaine-Greywind had left.
Fargo Police reportedly searched the apartment with no success. The family also mentioned that she vanished without her car or wallet—which they say isn’t normal behavior for her.
“This is so not like Savanna,” the missing woman’s sister, Kayla Greywind, said. “We’re just praying for the best, but, it’s really hard.”
The pregnant woman is described as 5 foot 4 inches tall, with green eyes and long brown hair.
Anyone with information about Lafontaine-Greywind’s whereabouts is instructed to call the Fargo Police Department at 701-235-4495.
