Kansas City police have charged a third adult suspect with murder in the shooting after the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade and rally in February.

The February 14 shooting killed popular radio host Lisa Lopez-Galvan, 43, and wounded at least 25 others, many of them children, as CrimeOnline reported.

Jackson County prosecutors announced Thursday charges against Terry J. Young, 20, KMBC reported. He has been charged with second degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon, and two counts of armed criminal action.

Also on Thursday, the Family Court Division of Missouri’s 16th Judicial Circuit announced that a 15-year-old boy has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon. The teen will face a hearing to determine whether he should be tried as an adult.

The shooting began as an altercation between two groups of people, police say.

Police had already charged Dominic M. Miller and Lyndell Mays with second degree murder. Three unidentified juveniles are facing gun charges connected with the shooting. Prosecutors previously said that Mays was the first to pull a weapon and that Miller — who was wounded in the shooting and remains hospitalized — fired the shot that killed Lopez-Galvan.

Prosecutors said Young pulled his gun in response to Mays and was seen on surveillance video from the scene firing several times. Investigators said cell phone data connects the 20-year-old to a group chat of people discussing their participation in the shooting.

Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker said that all the shooters involved in the incident are now in custody, but more charges are expected.
