Developing: Ohio Shooting Injures 2 Teens and 8 Adults, Suspect on the Run

Police in Ohio are seeking tips after an early Sunday morning shooting in Columbus left 10 people injured. 

The incident happened in the 1100 block of North High Street, in the Short North Arts District. According to CBS 10, calls came in around 2:30 a.m. concerning gunshots “between Standard Hall and Michael’s Goody Boy.”

Columbus Police Sgt. Joe Albert said medics took six people with gunshot-related injuries to different hospitals, with at least one taken by a police cruiser. 

Four victims found their way to area hospitals on their own, while six others were found on North High Street. One victim is listed in critical condition, while the other nine are reportedly stable. 

The victims were all males between the ages of 16 and 27.

“Detectives need your help locating this vehicle involved in a shooting this morning in the 1100 block of N. High St., where 10 people were shot. The vehicle is believed to be a white, 4-door Honda Civic with tinted windows,” Columbus Division of Police posted on Facebook.

“The suspect involved in the shooting as a male wearing all black clothing.”

Police said they gave chase to the vehicle but lost track of the driver at the Grandview Avenue exit.
