Police are searching for a Chicago woman who mysteriously disappeared during a trip to The Bahamas.
According to the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Taylor Casey, 41, was last seen on June 19 near Paradise Island in Nassau. A friend posted on Facebook that Taylor attended a yoga retreat before she “mysteriously vanished.”
Family members are now reportedly on the way to The Bahamas to help with the search.
Casey is described as having a light brown complexion and a slim build.
The Bahamas has been on a level 2 travel advisory since January, due to “violent crimes, including burglaries, armed robberies, and sexual assaults, occur in both tourist and non-tourist areas,” CBS News reports.
