Hillary Duff’s former husband of six years, Mike Comrie, is reportedly being investigated on rape allegations after a woman has accused him of sexually assaulting her multiple times this past weekend.

According to TMZ, Comrie, a former NHL player, previously know the alleged victim: The two reportedly met up at a bar on Saturday night and later went back to his apartment in West Los Angeles.  There, the woman claims Comrie raped her multiple times, and says she went to the hospital to have a rape kit administered shortly afterwards.

Sources who know Comrie reportedly told TMZ that Comrie acknowledges that sex took place, but insists it was consensual, and that another woman joined them for a threesome. That woman has not filed a complaint.

Comrie played for multiple NHL teams over the course of 13 years. Duff is an actress, who first rose to fame as the child star of the Lizzie McGuire comedy series on the Disney Channel. She currently stars on the TV land series Younger.

Duff filed for divorce in 2015, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple has one child together.

According to TMZ, Comrie has not yet spoken to police about the allegations, and it does not appear that any charges have been filed at this time.
