A Denton, Texas, man was arrested on Monday for drug paraphernalia and intoxication, and for unexplained reasons, he had black ink smeared all over his face.
The Star-Telegram reports that Joseph Augustini, 25, was weaving in and out of traffic on Monday morning at around 11 a.m. Denton police pulled him over near Denton Square, and what started as a simple traffic violation led to a non-alcoholic intoxication arrest after the suspect started acting bizarrely. When authorities asked Augustini if he realized that people called the police on him for driving erratically, he prompted assured them that of course he knew, because he was the law.
“I know the law, I am the law! I am the law…”

Augustini then allegedly demanded that officer remove his belt and gun or else it “wouldn’t be a fair fight.” As he made demands, the police officer noticed Augustini holding a clear pipe in his hand with residue inside. The residue later tested positive for amphetamines.
The suspect was booked into Denton County jail.
