It’s almost as if he wanted to get arrested.
A 19-year-old student on his way to Spring Break festivities in Destin, Florida, became a viral antihero after the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s office mocked his absurdly bad decisions in a hilarious Facebook post.
As seen in the photo, a massive haul of Natural Light beer is on full display in the student’s pickup truck. Police also found marijuana in the car, and the driver allegedly presented them with an altered license to make him appear of drinking age.
According to WFSA, Alden Whiteside, a University of Alabama student, was arrested on charges of marijuana possession and underage possession of alcohol — a lot of it.
When a commenter on the Facebook post asked if officers poured out all of that beer, the sheriff’s office responded that they had — and Whiteside’s spring break plans are also down the drain.
