Pix 11 is reporting that a 28-year-old man has turned himself in for a stabbing caught on video in NYC. Sources say he arrived at the precinct with two knives, but neither was the murder weapon. He reportedly told police that he traveled to New York from Baltimore for the express purpose of killing black people.

Timothy Caughman, 66, was found stabbed to death on Monday around 11:30 p.m. in Hell’s Kitchen, according to NYPD.  When police located him, he had stab wounds on his back and chest.

Fortunately, there is surveillance footage of the alleged attacker fleeing the area.  A sharply-dressed young man can be seen running from the area.

The police report recounts, “Further investigation revealed the male was engaged in a confrontation with another unknown, unapprehended male near the south east corner of West 36 Street and 9 Avenue.”

The unknown man is further described as “a male white with blonde hair; last seen wearing a black coat, brown shoes and dark colored pants.”
