A man wanted for the murder of his ex-fiance is on the run, and may be hiding out in north Texas.
According to Dallas News, Brian Keith Freeman is wanted for the March 23 murder of Lori Hannah, a 36-year-old mother, at her home in Ward, Arkansas. She had reportedly called off their engagement before the murder.
Though investigators quickly identified Freeman as the suspect, he has been able to evade authorities in the two weeks since the murder.
But he did leave one clue: His truck was found abandoned in a field in Royce, Texas. According to ABC 7, the keys and some of Freeman’s personal belongings were found in the truck.
Hannah’s friends and family believe her murder was driven by jealous rage.
“He couldn’t accept it and was like if I can’t have her nobody else can have her,” her niece told ABC 7.
Police say Freeman should be considered armed and dangerous.
