An argument over $10 in Fort Worth, Texas, ended with a man shot in the face on Thursday night and another man behind bars.
Dallas News reports that Jonathan Atkinson, 77, is accused of shooting the victim at around 11 p.m., off of Sunshine Drive, in between East Berry Street and Miller Avenue. According to Forth Worth police spokesman Jimmy Pollozani, the pair apparently began fighting after their wives started arguing over money. When tempers flared, Atkinson allegedly reached for his weapon and shot the other man directly in the face.
The victim was taken to hospital. He’s in stable condition and expected to survive. Atkinson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. It’s unclear if he was given a bond amount or if he retained an attorney.

Meanwhile, in Dallas, man and women were both fatally shot after an argument broke out in a shopping center parking lot at Singleton Boulevard in West Dallas. The man and woman both shot at and killed each other. The female victim was identified as Kenzia Perry, 25. The identity of the male is not yet know.
