Dallas police are in the process of trying to figure out the identity of a person found floating in Mountain Creek Lake on Saturday.

Dallas News reports that someone found the body on Saturday afternoon, while at the 7600 block of West Kiest Boulevard, and promptly called the police. When authorities arrived, they discovered that the human remains that were almost completely bones. The decomposition so was advanced that they weren’t able to determine the victim’s identity or gender.

Dallas County medical examiner’s office will be performing an autopsy. Check back with Crime Online as additional details become available.
