A Florida man is under arrest for stalking a 10-year-old girl at her West Palm Beach home.
According to WPTV, the 10-year-old girl told police a man had stalked her at her apartment complex on at least two occasions this month. Once, the girl said the man rode his bike to the apartment complex where she lives and sat on his bike, staring at her.
Then on Wednesday, June 21, the little girl said the same man chased her near her home, yelling, “come here, you’re going to be sorry!”
When the little girl kept running back to her apartment, the man took off, and the police were called. After the police interviewed the little girl, they found the man walking near the apartment complex, and said he went into a “heightened aggravated state”when they questioned him.
They arrested the suspect, 30-year-old Galindo Gonzalez, and found that he was carrying a green card that looked fake. A Border Patrol agent reportedly confirmed that the document was not legitimate.
Gonzalez is facingĀ a felony stalking charge, but was given bail of $6,000. If he is able to make bail, police have prohibited him from contacting the girl.
