Three teens were arrested on Tuesday after two of them reportedly broke into a Gwinnett County, Georgia, apartment and raped a woman in front of her young son. A third teen is accused of providing the other suspect with a ride to the victim’s home.
Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Francisco Palencia, 17, Josue Ramirez, 19, and and 15-year-old female reportedly broke into an apartment in Tucker on May 12, a little before 3 a.m. According to authorities, the two men, both wearing dark clothing, confronted the victim in her kitchen. When she tried to run, one of the suspects threw twos pots with boiling water at her, causing burns on her shoulder.
The men then allegedly shocked the victim with tasers and pushed her into a bedroom, where they forced her to perform oral sex while her oldest son watched. Afterwards, both men reportedly raped her while her son sat on her bed, crying. She later reported a jewelry box, school ID and German shepherd puppy missing.
“(She) complied with the male’s demands out of fear for what could be done to her children,” the police report read.
The female accomplice was not inside the apartment when the attacks occurred, but officers indicated that she helped the two men by driving them to the apartment.
All three suspects were arrested and charged with ” home invasion, rape, aggravated sodomy, kidnapping, aggravated battery and cruelty to children.” Authorities said that additional charges may follow.
