Police: Missing California boy found dead; ‘dad’ murdered his own son after a fun night at Disneyland [BREAKING]

Authorities found the body of the missing 5-year-old California boy on Friday, who was last seen with his father in April.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed that the body of little Aramazd Andressian Jr. was found in Lake Cachuma, located in the in the Santa Ynez Valley of central Santa Barbara County. According to a press statement, authorities found the boy after they received additional tips that led detectives back to the area for another search.

The boy’s father, Aramazd Andressian Sr., was arrested last week for murder, and the discovery of his son came when the suspect was being extradited back to Los Angeles County. Andressian Sr. was located in Las Vegas, reportedly socializing instead of helping authorities find the boy. He had a new haircut and shaved off his beard and mustache, possibly in an attempt to avoid recognition.

Andressian Jr. was last seen with his father on April 21. Surveillance footage showed the pair leaving Disneyland in Anaheim at around 1 a.m.

A few days later, the boy’s mother reported her son missing when Aramazd Andressian Sr. didn’t return him from scheduled visit. Police found the suspect passed out on a park bench in Arroyo Park. He was arrested on suspicion of murder but authorities released him a few days later due to insufficient evidence. He claimed he took prescription pills and “blacked out” while he supposed to be watching his son. Last week, authorities stated they gathered up enough incriminating information to obtain another warrant for the suspect’s arrest.
