Uber suspended one of its drivers after a customer complained that the driver allegedly allowed a woman to perform “sex acts” on him while he was working.
Aner Manuel, of Boston, ordered an Uber ride on July 16. He said he didn’t order as UberPool ride and was surprised to see another passenger inside when the driver pulled up. Manuel surmised that the passenger was a family member of the driver since she was seated up front. Yet, Manuel wrote on Facebook that the female passenger, who appeared to be on drugs, starting groping on the driver before she performed oral sex on him.

“As we pulled off the female in the front (who was clearly on drugs) attempted to open the door and could not even sit straight as the vehicle was in motion. She then began to grope him and grab him….She then proceeded to perform oral sex. This was my last straw. I asked the driver to drop me off.”
Manuel wrote that he complained to Uber about the incident but the company reportedly shrugged him off with a $10 credit. However, Gizmodo reports that an Uber representative said that the company is currently investigating the incident and that the driver had been suspended until the investigation is complete.
“The behavior of this former driver is appalling and is not tolerated on the Uber app. As soon as this situation was reported to us, we immediately removed this driver’s access.”
