Police are asking for the public’s help in the search for a missing woman who disappeared from a Duke University hospital.

WRAL reports that Jennifer Bertram, 26, was last seen at Duke Hospital early Sunday morning, and she is believed to be suffering from a cognitive ailment. The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for Bertram on Sunday morning at 2:45 a.m.

A family member told the news station that Bertram had a heart condition.

Bertram is caucasian, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 167 pounds, with reddish brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a T-shirt with the American flag on the front, jeans and black sneakers. She was carrying a green shoulder bag.
