The opioid crisis in the United States has been declared a national emergency, with more people dying from overdoses than from car crashes. For Rebecca Savage, it has claimed her two teenage sons and launched her on a mission. Nick, 19, and Jack, 18, died on the same day, hours after attending a high school graduation party in their hometown of Mishawaka, Indiana.
The mother visits with Nancy Grace to discuss the loss of her sons and the campaign she is now waging in their names to prevent other mom’s from suffering the same tragedy.
Dr. William Marrone, a drug expert who wrote the book “American Narcan,” and Caryn Stark, a New York psychologist, join the discussion for the full hour of this Crime Stories episode.
