A Curwensville, Pennsylvania, woman who tried to have sex with a dog received some harsh words from a sentencing judge.
“This is sick,” Judge Paul Cherry told Rachael Harris, 20, on Friday. “You need help!—Big Time!”
Centre Daily Times reported that Harris pleaded guilty to four counts each of producing an obscene performance, criminal conspiracy, and producing an obscene performance, in addition to eight counts of cruelty to animals. Harris’ husband, Corey D. Harris, 24, pleaded guilty to recording his wife performing the disturbing sex acts.
Investigators claimed the videos showed Rachael “attempting manipulation of the dog’s penis into her vagina,” “attempting to allow the dog to perform oral sex on her vagina,” and “masturbating the dog with her hand in a rapid motion back and forth,” The Smoking Gun reported.
In November 2015, Corey’s sister located the unsettling footage on their camera and brought it to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ (SPCA) attention. In total, police located four illicit videos on Corey’s camera. Corey’s sister later identified the voice heard in the videos as her brother’s, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by The Progress News.
On Friday, Judge Cherry sentenced Rachael to 90 days to one year in jail and four years consecutive probation. She was ordered to undergo mental health counseling, abstain from alcohol and drugs, and complete 100 hours of community service. Judge Cherry also fined her $1,400 and barred her from owning an animal or having a job that works with animals, the local paper reported.
Corey was sentenced to 30 days to one year in jail and five years consecutive probation in July, after pleading guilty to criminal conspiracy/producing an obscene performance, producing an obscene performance, and criminal conspiracy/cruelty to animals. Like his wife, the 24-year-old is required to receive mental health counseling.
