Authorities say an Alabama woman shot herself after shooting her two adult daughters to death on Sunday night, and so far it’s unclear what transpired between the family that ended with three people dead.
Al.com reports that Brenda Williamon, 70, fatally shot her two daughters, Alicia Williamon, 44, Jeannie Williamon, 43, before turning the gun on herself. All three bodies were found inside the elderly woman’s home, off of the 8100 block of Highway 204 in Jacksonville. According to Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown, the mother shot both daughters one time each in the head at some point between 11 a.m to midnight.
All three women were sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Huntsville for testing to determine the official cause and time of death. So far, little is known about the motive. Brown decline to take guesses as to why the older Williamson decided to shoot her daughters and then herself.
