A video appears to show a Gainesville, Florida, doctor berate a patient after she reportedly complained about long wait times.
The Gainesville Sun reported that police are investigating the incident that occurred Monday at Gainesville After-Hours Clinic. Jessica Stipe uploaded the footage to her Facebook page hours after the spat, which she said occurred when she complained about not being seen and requested her copay back.
“I’m severely sick and came to Gainesville after hours with a 6:30 appointment. By 7:45 was not seen still in severe pain and throwing up in the trash can All they had me do was pee in a cup to see if I’m pregnant….ummm I know I’m not…,” she wrote on her page.
The video, which can be viewed below, shows Peter Gallogly arguing with Stipe about the wait time. At one point, Gallogly asks Stipe whether she wants to be seen, to which she responds, “I want to go home and get in my bed.”
The visibly annoyed doctor is then heard saying that it would take longer for her to be seen at another clinic or the emergency room.
“Get the f**k out of my office,” Gallogly is heard saying as he leads Stipe and her daughter to the door.
Stipe’s daughter can be heard asking Gallogly what his name is. Possibly realizing that he’s being recorded, he apparently snatches the girl’s phone then heads down a hallway.
“My daughter recorded it because they were so rude,” Stipe wrote. “When he saw it was being recorded he snatched my baby’s phone and shoved her when she tried to get it back.”
She later told WSMH that she believes Gallogly was attempting to delete the video before throwing the phone back at them.
Stipe claimed that she called the police but they told her that she can’t press charges because nobody was injured.
The video had 250,000 views and nearly 4,000 shares on Facebook as of Wednesday.
Gainesville After-Hours Clinic has yet to comment on the ordeal.

The Dr was mad I wanted my co pay back and was unhappy with having to wait so long and proceeded to cuss me out . My daughter recorded it because they were so rude . When he saw it was being recorded he snatched my baby's phone and shoved her when she tried to get it back . Gpd is here now but says we can't press assault charges even though it's all on tape because she has no injury .. wtf .. he took her phone and shoved her she is a minor …. never go there for medical care .
