A Delaware mom is facing murder charges after her little boys were found dead inside her Delaware home, in a bathtub on Monday morning.

NBC reports that the suspect contacted authorities on Monday and said that two boys, a 2-month-old infant and a 5-year-old, had died. According to the police report, one child belonged the woman who called the police, while she was caring for the other child at the time.

When police arrived at the home, off of the 800 block of West 9th Street in Wilmington, they found the deceased boys in a bathtub. Officers reported smelling a strong odor of natural gas permeating throughout the home. Yet, they indicated the gas issue occurred after the boys were already deceased. Detectives said the children were likely drowned, although unconfirmed until the autopsies are complete.

Authorities arrested the suspect, whose name hasn’t been released, and charged her with two counts of murder.
