The brother of the gunman who killed 58 people in a deadly shooting massacre earlier this month has been arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography.
TMZ reports that Bruce Paddock was arrested in North Hollywood, California, on Wednesday after investigator found child pornography on his computer.
According to the breaking report, authorities had been trying to track Bruce down before the October 1 massacre, and apprehended him following a tip that the suspect could be found at an assisted living facility in North Hollywood.
Another of Stephen’s brothers, Eric Paddock, has been the most outspoken family member since the gunman took his own life at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino after opening fire on a crowd of concertgoers. But Bruce did give an interview to NBC News in which he described Stephen as “law abiding,” unlike their father, who was once on the FBI’s Most Wanted List.
Bruce reportedly has a criminal history, with numerous arrests for burglary, criminal threats, and arson, among others.
