Sarah Kelly was just 27 years old when she was involved in a tragic accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down. With no insurance, assets, and no way to work, she’s finding increasingly difficult to pay the mounting medical bills she’s amassing from frequent medical treatments.
Anna King, manager at Cabello’s Salon and Spa, is hoping to ease some of Sarah’s financial burdens and she needs the public’s help. On Nov. 5, King is holding a fundraiser at the spa in Tallahassee, where she’ll donate haircuts, massages, manicures, and other services, while providing a silent auction. The event will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 1240 Thomasville Rd #201.
“On June 25th, our dear friend, Sarah Kelly, was involved in a single car accident, leaving her in need of emergency spinal surgery and paralyzed from the waist down. To date, she still has no feeling in her legs and is currently in rehab at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia. As you can imagine, her medical bills are already out of this world. We believe Sarah is 100% strong enough to make a full recovery with time, but this time will continue to be costly. Please join the Tallahassee community on November 5th to raise money for Sarah’s recovery.
