Kristin Smart was a 19-year-old student at California Polytechnic State University when she disappeared on May 25, 1996, after attending a campus party. No one has ever been charged in her disappearance and she is still missing more than 20 years later.
Kristin’s parents Denise and Stan Smart have never given up in their search for answers. They discuss their daughter’s case with Nancy Grace, victims advocate Marc Klass, “Crime Stories” contributing reporter Larry Meagher, and forensics expert Joseph Scott Morgan in this “Crime Stories” episode.
You can learn more about the case and the scholarship the Smart family established in their daughter’s memory at this website
“Crime Stories with Nancy Grace” is also a national radio show, heard on SiriusXM’s Triumph Channel 132, five times everyday. You can subscribe and download the daily podcasts at iTunes and Google Play.
