A video posted on social media reportedly depicted two women trading blows in an Indiana Chuck E. Cheese’s–as families watched the whole thing unfold.
Facebook user Cujo Bailey uploaded the footage Saturday, which showed the two women grappling before striking one another and pulling each other’s hair. At one point, a woman can be seen trying to break the pair up as she holds her small child. Later on, one employee appears to tell another employee to call the police.
Bailey told WISH that he was celebrating his daughter’s birthday and recording his son when the fight broke out. It’s not known what caused the altercation.
“It happened like right there like it was all the kids right there playing with Chuck E. Cheese’s,” he said.
The local station reported that police were called to the Indianapolis location that night but no arrests were made. A spokesperson for the Indianapolis Police Department explained that the involved parties had fled by the time officers arrived.
In a statement, Chuck E. Cheese’s claimed that a store manager acted “quickly” and contacted authorities as the altercation got increasingly violent.
“We want to assure our guests that we take great measures to protect the experience children and families have in our stores and we do not tolerate this kind of behavior,” the company said.
“Many of the measures we have in place–such as our Kid Check program, active camera systems, and additional safety precautions – are transparent to our guests to encourage an environment Where a Kid Can Be a Kid.”
