Police investigating decades-old rape claim made against Sylvester Stallone: Report

A woman has reportedly accused Sylvester Stallone of raping her in the early ’90s–a claim the actor vehemently denies.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that, despite the statute of limitations expiring, the woman went to Santa Monica police and that the agency is investigating the alleged crime. Though details are scarce, the woman apparently claimed that the assault occurred during a meeting in Stallone’s office in Santa Monica.

In turn, Stallone’s lawyer, Marty Singer, told the tabloid that the woman filed a false police report and that Stallone intends to have her investigated when and if it is confirmed that a complaint was officially made.

Stallone, 71, reportedly admitted to spending three days with the accuser during a movie shoot in Israel in 1987. However, he claimed that that the accuser wasn’t a minor, a rape didn’t occur, and that he never saw her in the ’90s, according to TMZ.

This is the second time the actor has fought sexual assault allegations in recent months. As CrimeOnline previously reported, a 1986 police report revealed that a 16-year-old girl had accused Stallone, then 40, and his bodyguard of forcing her into a threesome in a Las Vegas hotel.

The teen, who went to police at the time, said that Stallone penetrated her and forced her to perform oral sex on him and his bodyguard. However, Stallone was never criminally charged as the girl signed a non-prosecution form.

“This is a ridiculous, categorically false story. No one was ever aware of this story until it was published today, including Mr. Stallone. At no time was Mr. Stallone ever contacted by authorities or anyone else regarding this matter,” the actor’s rep told Fox News in November.
