An Arizona woman is facing an aggravated assault charge after police say she fired a gun a her husband of 32 years after he wouldn’t listen to her.
ABC reports that 69-year-old Linda Jean Fahn had allegedly been arguing with her husband for a few days before she lost her temper, barged into their bathroom, and while he was on the toilet, fired two shots above his head at their Goodyear home.
When police arrived to the home, Fahn reportedly admitted she indeed fired the shoots to get her spouse to pay attention to her. She said she knew she wasn’t going to shoot him and “he would have to be ten feet tall to be hit by the bullets.”
“I shot two bullets at the wall above his head to make him listen to me.”
Authorities, however, said the bullets were only around seven inches above the victim’s head.
The story is still developing. Check back with CrimeOnline as additional details become available.
