An Indiana woman and her much younger boyfriend have been charged in the brutal slayings of the woman’s parents.
The Associated Press reports that the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office responded to a wellness check on January 19 at the Aurora home of Walter Bryant Jr, 78, and Faith Craig, 58, to find the couple stabbed to death.
In addition to stabbing injuries, Bryant, Jr. also had evidence of blunt force trauma to the head, according to the report. The suspects also appear to have stolen his car.
The day after the bodies were found, police apprehended Margie L. Thompson, 48, and 28-year-old Cody W. Booth in Bryant’s car. Thompson also lives in Aurora, about 30 miles west of Cincinnati, but the couple was in Kentucky when police tracked them down.
Thompson and Booth are facing multiple charges, including murder. Authorities have not yet released a motive for the apparent double murder.
This is a developing story. CrimeOnline will provide updates when more information is available.
