An Eastampton, New Jersey, man has confessed to luring a 17-year-old girl to a hotel, where he and his girlfriend drugged her and forced her into prostitution for 10 days.
According to the Courier Post, Christopher White, 20, admitted Friday to luring the victim to a Burlington County hotel by offering her a job watching his girlfriend’s two children. Instead, White “brutally exploited his young victim—threatening her with violence, ordering her to take drugs, and forcing her to engage in sexual activity with five or more men a day,” Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said in a statement.
Authorities said White and girlfriend Adria Regn, 28, gave the victim crystal methamphetamine and marijuana and told her that she must work as a prostitute or Regn’s two young children would have no place to live.
Regn and White allegedly took multiple pictures of the victim nude and advertised her services on Backpage.com. The couple ultimately took all the money the victim made from escorting, according to the newspaper.
The teen managed to escape while the couple slept. Earlier stories indicated that White knew the victim.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, Regn pleaded guilty in October to second-degree conspiracy to facilitate human trafficking. She is facing a recommended sentence of five years.

White pleaded guilty to promoting prostitution of a minor and facilitation of human trafficking. Under the plea agreement, he faces 13 years in prison and must register as a sex offender.
Sentencing for White and Regn is scheduled for April 6 and 13, respectively.
