Authorities have reportedly apprehended the suspect in a mass shooting incident at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

Fox 10 News reports that police have a male suspect believed to be the gunman responsible for the deadly shooting in custody. He has not been identified but police say he was a former student at the high school.

According to the latest report, the suspect was not on school grounds when he was apprehended, but it is not known where he was. The suspect had reported to school earlier this morning.

At least one person has been killed in the shooting, and dozens more are believed to be injured.
