Police in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, are asking for the public’s help in locating a teenage girl who was last seen March 7 near a local coffee shop.
Murfreesboro Police told WGNS Thursday that they’re following leads in the disappearance of Molly Spies, 17. The Oakland High School student was reportedly last seen at Just Love Coffee at 129 MTCS Boulevard.
According to WKRN, Spies has a heart condition which requires medication. The teen isn’t believed to have that medication with her.
Another report by the local station indicated that Spies was not a regular at the coffee shop.
“It’s very difficult for us to remember everybody that come through especially after several days have passed by, so that’s a little bit of a challenge to remember,” Just Love Marketing Director D.J. Smith told WKRN.
“We are hoping some customers will recognize her, that someone was sitting right at the table next to her that can remember anything about her visit here,” he said.
Spies is described as being 5-feet-5-inches tall, approximately 120 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
Anyone with information surrounding Molly Spies’ disappearance is urged to call Detective Tommy Roberts with the Murfreesboro Police Department at 615-893-1311.
