A man who claimed to have helped Natalee Holloway’s purported killer hide the missing Alabama woman’s remains suffered his own violent death during a struggle with an ex-girlfriend. John Ludwick was a friend of Joran van der Sloot, the man believed to be the last person to see Holloway alive before the 18-year-old disappeared in Aruba in 2005.
Ludwick, who appeared on Nancy Grace’s TV show twice in past years, gained more notoriety last year when an Oxygen docu-series focused on his claims about where her remains were hidden.
Nancy Graces looks at the bizarre end to Ludwick’s life in this “Crime Stories” episode. Her guests include Cold Case Research Institute director Sheryll McCollum, New York psychologist Caryn Stark, Juvenile Judge Ashley Willcott, and Investigative reporter Art Harris.
“Crime Stories with Nancy Grace” is a national radio show, heard on SiriusXM’s Triumph Channel 132, five times a day. You can also subscribe and download the daily podcasts at iTunes and Google Play.
