Police in Tennessee said a teen girl stabbed a male classmate with a pair of scissors after he pulled up her dress.

From WHBQ, the male student had pulled up the girl’s skirt while inside a classroom at Central High School in Memphis. The girl allegedly responded by picking up the scissors and tried to stab him multiple times before succeeding.

The male student was treated on-site by a school nurse. He later told police that he was horsing around and denied “exposing the victim,” according to the news station. It’s not immediately known where the teen boy was stabbed.

In light of the ordeal, local police issued juvenile summons to both high schoolers. The male student was handed a summons for sexual battery while the female student was issued a summons for aggravated assault.
