Actress Heather Locklear has been hospitalized after she reportedly threatened to shoot herself, and allegedly assaulted her parents.

TMZ reports that the Melrose Place actress is under psychiatric evaluation following an incident at her Los Angeles home on Sunday. An unidentified source told the news station that Locklear’s parents had gone to the home because the actress seemed agitated. Once there, Locklear allegedly hit her father and choked her mother, the source said.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that a family member called 911 claiming that Locklear was threatening to kill herself and looking for a gun. She was transported to a hospital, and no charges have been filed at this time.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Locklear was arrested in March on suspicion of domestic violence after an apparent drunken altercation with her boyfriend. She allegedly threatened to shoot officers who responded to a 911 call made by her brother.

It is unclear if Locklear is still hospitalized at this time.
