A 3-year-old girl little girl celebrating her birthday at a party in an apartment complex in Boise, Idaho, on Sunday, has passed away after succumbing to stab wound injuries, the Boise Police Department confirmed.
FOX reports that the little girl was one of nine people injured when suspect Timmy Kinner allegedly started attacking guests at the birthday party. The victims included six children and three adults. Seven victims remain in the hospital, some with serious injuries. One child victim was treated and has been subsequently released.
Kinner, according to police, attacked the guest after a resident kicked him out on Friday night after the suspect was allowed to temporarily stay with him, as CrimeOnline previously reported.
Along with a murder charge, Kinner also faces six counts of injury to a child and nine counts of aggravated battery, according to Boise Police Chief William Bone.
“As you can imagine, the witnesses in the apartment complex — along with the rest of our community — are reeling from this attack,” Bone said, according to CNN. “This incident is not a representation of our community, but a single evil individual who attacked people without provocation that we are aware of at this time.”
The story continues to develop. Check back with CrimeOnline as additional details become available.
