A Thailand woman reportedly confessed to chopping off her husband’s penis after he allegedly cheated on her. She then threw his dismembered body part out of a window, according to authorities.

New York Post reports that 24-year-old Karuna Sanusan, of Sriracha, is accused of using a 12-inch-long carving knife to chop the manhood off of her husband, 40-year-old Siripan Sanusan. Authorities indicated that neighbors heard a gut-wrenching howl coming from the victim’s residence at around 6:30 a.m. when the incident occurred. Neighbors subsequently called the police.

When officers arrived, the suspect allegedly admitted that she chopped her husband’s penis off after learning he was having an affair.

“Me and my husband work together selling organic vegetables at a stall. Before this happened I became suspicious he was having an affair,” the suspect said, according to the Post. “I always saw him flirting with a lot of girls and I had an idea of what he was doing. Then I found out that he was secretly going with other women. This made me very angry…..I was full of anger and couldn’t relax. I was so angry inside.”

Sanusan admitted she planned out the attack in advance, then “aroused” her husband on the morning of the incident, with the sole purpose of hurting him.

“I aroused him in the morning while he was absent-minded, then used the knife to cut off his penis. I threw it out of the window.”

Police Col. Somkid Boonlert of the Sriracha police said authorities found the severed penis and immediately put it inside a freezer. Medical professionals indicated it would impossible to reattach the body part.

“The man had lost a lot of blood. He is now under close medical supervision. He will never be able to use his penis in the same way again,” Boonlert explained.

The suspect is currently behind bars. Authorities indicated she’s banned from seeing her husband.

The incident is eerily similar to the case of Lorena Bobbit. On June 23, 1993, Bobbit severed her husband John Bobbitt’s penis with a kitchen knife, later claiming that John repeatedly abused her.  After an extensive search, authorities found the man’s private part in a field.

According to USA Today, Bobbit described her husband as a cheater who was “physically, verbally and sexually abusive.” Bobbit was acquitted due to temporarily insanity. Surgeons were able to reattach John’s penis.
