Virginia State Police say an elderly man who vanished on Wednesday, possibly abducted, could be headed toward Maryland with an abductor.
NBC Washington reports that 88-year-old John Alee Wimbush disappeared from his home off of Forest Street in Martinsville, Virginia, on Wednesday morning at around 10:28 a.m. He could be in the company of Valerie Vianna Swinson, 59. Police indicated that Wimbush could also be in danger.
Swinson, described as a black female who stands 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighs around 167 pounds, could be going by the name Valerie Vianna Condell. She has black/blonde hair, brown eyes, and last seen wearing a black and white striped tank top.
Wimbush is described as a black male who stands 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighs around 176 pounds. He has black/grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a jacket, blue jeans, and a blue shirt.
According to police, Swinson is possibly driving a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder and may be headed down I-81 north to I-95 north, en route to Fort Washington, Maryland. The color of the car and the tag number is unknown at this time.
