The husband of a pregnant missing who was reported missing with her two young daughters earlier this has been formally charged in connection with their presumed murder, NBC News reports.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, authorities told multiple Colorado news outlets that Chris Watts had confessed to the murders of his pregnant wife Shanann Watts and the couple’s two daughters, 4-year-old Bella and 3-year-old Celeste.
Just hours after Watts gave a video interview to a local news outlet on Tuesday, he reportedly told police that he had killed his wife and daughters, but the circumstances of their presumed murders remain unknown.
On Wednesday, police told NBC News that Chris Watts had been charged with three counts of first-degree homicide murder and three counts of obstructing justice. He is currently being held at the Weld County Jail.
The whereabouts of Shanann Watts and here daughters remain unknown.
