Police in Tennessee are asking for the public’s help in locating an 11-year-old boy who was reportedly last seen getting into an unknown car outside his middle school early Friday.
According to WHBQ, a friend spotted Stephen Stewart getting into an older, black, four-door vehicle with Nevada plates parked outside Humes Preparatory Academy Middle School in Memphis. Police only described the driver as being an older woman with a lighter skin complexion.
LocalMemphis.com reported that authorities have issued a city-wide watch alert in light of Stewart’s disappearance. Police reportedly said they’re investigating claims that the middle schooler is with his father as of Friday afternoon.
Police said Stewart is 5-foot-2-inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and was last seen wearing a gray and black jacket, white polo shirt, black pants, and gray shoes.
