Although she’s said for years she isn’t interested in having more children, infamous “tot mom” Casey Anthony now says she is considering it and doesn’t care what the public thinks.
People reports that a source close to Anthony, who was acquitted in the 2011 murder case of her toddler daughter, is “open” to the possibility of more kids.
“For a long time she was like ‘no way,’” the source told the outlet. “But time has changed that and she’s now open to it in a way she hasn’t been before.”
Anthony is considered “one of the most hated women in America,” according to 2011 Florida Department of Corrections statement. The nickname came after the masses blamed Anthony for the 2008 death of her daughter, 2-year-old Caylee.
For months, Anthony lied to police, claiming she left her little girl with a nanny who turned out to be fictional. Searchers eventually found the Caylee’s remains on December 11, 2008, buried near the Orlando home of Anthony’s parents.
According to the source, Anthony simply doesn’t care what others think about her.
“She’s very good at living her life and to hell with what other people think. If she wants to have another kid, she’ll have another kid. She doesn’t care what you or I or anyone else thinks.”
Anthony claimed similar sentiments last year when she opened up for her first interview in years. She explained to AP that the hate she received and continues to receive doesn’t phase her.
“I don’t give a s— about what anyone thinks about me, I never will. I’m okay with myself. I sleep pretty good at night.”
