A North Carolina woman reportedly filmed while hurling racist remarks at two black women earlier this month and bragging about her job has been fired, WCCB reports.
In a viral video posted on Facebook on Friday, a white woman identified as Susan Westwood, 51, is shown arguing with two black women on October 19, in the parking lot of the Camden Fairview Apartments in the Southpark area of Charlotte. One of the victims, Mary Garris, filmed the incident after Westwood allegedly started harassing her and her sister while they waited on AAA to help them with their vehicle. Garris was at the complex visiting her sister when the ordeal occurred.
The incident apparently started when Westwood reportedly spotted the pair and asked them if they lived in the complex and why they were in the parking lot. Westwood announced that she lived there and paid “almost $1,100” a month while demanding to know why the two ladies were at the apartment complex. When the victims refused to answer her and told her they would call 911, Westwood kept going.
“I’m still gonna make $125,000 Monday morning. Who are you? Do you live here? Is your boyfriend here? Is your baby daddy here? I’m white and I’m hot. I’m white and I’m hot.”

After learning of the video, Westwood’s employer, Spectrum Enterprise, fired her, stating that the way she behaved is against the company’s code of conduct.
“The incident recorded in Charlotte is a blatant violation of Charter’s code of conduct and clearly disregards the company’s commitment to inclusion and respectful behavior. As such, Ms. Westwood’s employment with the company has been terminated, effective immediately.”
The victims said they had never seen or met Westwood before the night she approached them. They filed a police report against her and according to authorities, Westwood now has four criminal summons against her.
