Texas authorities are still searching for a toddler who allegedly vanished from a College Station park on Sunday morning, but are now focusing on an additional nearby park.
ABC reports that as investigators continue the search for 2-year-old Hazana Anderson, they’re focusing their efforts on a park located in the Brazos Valley area. They didn’t find the little girl at Gabbard Park, where her mother, 21-year-old Tiaundra Christon, claimed her daughter vanished from after leaving her alone “for a few minutes” in a stroller at around 8 a.m.
Authorities found a bag of clothes and an item of interest inside a dumpster earlier this week and while Christon confirmed the clothes matched what Hazana was last seen wearing, she claimed she had never seen the item of interest, found wrapped in a black bag. However, investigators said evidence showed Christon handled the item and the bag.
Christon is now behind bars facing charges of child endangerment and making a false report to police. She’s being held on a $200,000 bond. College Station authorities stated that Christon “was not providing truthful information regarding the incident.”
Authorities are also asking the public for assistance in finding the little girl. On a Facebook post, College Station police requested anyone with any knowledge of Christon or Hazana’s recent activities to contact them immediately at 979-764-3600.

Local, state, and federal authorities are currently assisting in the search.
Hazana is a black female who stands three feet tall and weighs around 28 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair, and has a dark birthmark on her left big toe. She was last seen wearing a black “girl squad” shirt, cream pants, an olive green jacket, a purple beanie and pink shoes.
