Chris Watts was sentenced on Monday to three consecutive life prison terms following his guilty plea to murdering his wife Shannan Watts and their daughters Bella and Celeste.
According to the Associated Press, the sentences come without the possibility of parole. Watts was given an additional 48 years in prison for the unlawful termination of a pregnancy and additional time for charges related to his disposal of the bodies. Shannan was 15 weeks pregnant when she died. The sentences will reportedly run concurrently.
Watts pleaded guilty to the murders on November 6, less than two months after his wife and daughters went missing. As part of the plea agreement, Watts was spared the death penalty.
CrimeOnline will provide further updates on the sentencing as more information becomes available.
