A Florida man is accused of sexually assaulting a 78-year-old woman while her young granddaughter looked on, WPLG-TV reports.

Authorities told the news station the attack occurred Wednesday, when the victim found 32-year-old Cidoine Petit Beau standing in the living room of her Lauderdale Lakes residence.

The victim had left her apartment front door unlocked because her granddaughter had been outside, according to an arrest report obtained by WPLG-TV.

Upon seeing Beau, the woman dashed into her bedroom with her 5-year-old granddaughter and then locked the bedroom door.

That’s when Beau broke the bedroom door open and proceeded to assault the victim by pushing her onto her bed and choking her. He then allegedly grabbed one of her breasts and placed it in his mouth.

The victim was able to push Beau off and get to the living room, but Beau allegedly chased her, put her in a choke hold and detained her in a chair.

Beau then licked the victim’s body and removed her underwear, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

During the attack, someone walked into the apartment and then ran away, which investigators say scared Beau.

Two witnesses positively identified Beau as the attacker, according to the television station.

Police arrested Beau on Thursday and he has been charged with sexual assault, false imprisonment and burglary.

Beau, of Pompano Beach, made a court appearance on Friday. He is being detained in lieu of $165,000 bail and is under a court order to have no contact with the victim. If Beau does post bail, he must be tracked with a GPS ankle monitoring bracelet.
