Police in New Orleans are seeking the public’s help in locating a widowed pastor who went missing on New Year’s Day.
WGNO reports that David Michael Plessy, 53, was last seen leaving his Havana Street home on the morning of January 1. He last communicated with his family via text message the night before.
In November, Plessy’s wife Jeannot was killed in a carjacking in Gentilly when she was picking up her two children, the Advocate reports.
Plessy’s stepdaughter made a tearful plea for his return in an interview with the Advocate.
“I think the most important thing for us to tell him is that we’re not upset, we’re not mad. We’re just worried,” Nadia Sanchez said. “We just want you to come home. We love and we need you, and the kids need you.”
Anyone with information regarding David Plessy’s whereabouts is asked to contact NOPD 3rd District Detectives at 504-658-6030.
