Authorities in Texas are searching for a woman who they said hasn’t been seen or heard from since earlier this month.
Emily Wade, 38, was reportedly last seen on January 5. Police have searched a road that leads to a co-worker’s home in Wade with no success, according WKYT.
KTRK reported that Wade, who’s a waitress at a Chili’s in Ennis, had plans to go to a co-worker’s home on the night in question to eat pizza and watch a movie. A witness reportedly claimed they saw her drive off at 8:30 p.m., never making it home.
The woman’s family previously told the news station that Wade’s bank account nor cell phone have shown any signs of activity. Wade’s 6-year-old daughter is unaware of her mother’s disappearance, Wade’s mother told WFAA.
Wade, who’s originally from Kentucky, was described as being 5 feet, 6 inches, approximately 140 pounds, and having blonde hair and blue eyes. She was reportedly last seen driving her mother’s 2012 silver Nissan Altima with Kentucky license plate 411 PAZ.
WKYT reported that police have interviewed Wade’s co-workers and none of them are considered a suspect at this point in time.
This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information regarding Emily Wade’s whereabouts should call Detective Sergeant Rodney Rickman or Detective Sergeant Jason York at 972-875-1234 ext. 2293.
