Authorities in Arizona say they are searching for a high school teacher who disappeared Sunday in Pinal County.
According to the Arizona Daily Star, 46-year-old Elizabeth Breck was last seen near East Edwin Road and North Lago Del Oro Parkway.
The missing woman was identified by Pinal County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Navideh Forghani as a teacher at a magnet school in Tucson. She noted that investigators did not immediately find evidence of foul play.
A statement from school district spokesperson Karla Escamilla indicated students would be able to see a counselor if needed in the wake of the teacher’s disappearance.
Breck lives in Tucson but her disappearance in Pinal County means authorities in that jurisdiction will be handling the investigation.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information related to Breck’s whereabouts to contact investigators by calling 520-866-5111.
