A 72-year-old Florida man is accused of stalking a little girl for more than a month, and molesting her because he “admired her skin tone.”

NBC8 reports that Abdulla Ndregjoni is accused of following a 12-year-old girl to a bus stop at 15th Ave. NW and Clearwater Largo Road in Largo on Thursday, where he allegedly grabbed her breasts through her clothes and tried to kiss her on the mouth. The following day, authorities watched the suspect as he followed the victim to her apartment complex, where the detained him.

According to police, Ndregjoni admitted that he kissed the girl and fondled her breasts, then said her skin tone attracted him. He also reportedly admitted that he was attracted to the girl because of her young age.

“The defendant admitted he developed an attraction to the victim and he believed she was in fact under the age of sixteen,” the affidavit read, according to the outlet.

According to ABC Action News Tampa, the suspect followed the little girl for over a month. He’s been charged with  lewd and lascivious molestation and aggravated stalking of a child under 16.
