Authorities in Georgia are asking for the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old and her newborn baby girl who were reportedly last seen on February 15.

According to WJBF, Aaliyah Austin and baby Braylee Smith were last seen on the 100 block of Wood Street in Augusta. Authorities said the pair left the medication Smith’s required to take at the Augusta home.

Authorities also said they believe Austin and Smith are traveling to the Atlanta area.

Austin was described as being 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, and having black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Aaliyah Austin and Braylee Smith’s whereabouts is urged to call the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at 706-821-1080.
