The daughter of TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé” star Angela Deem is in a Georgia prison after pleading guilty to three counts of child molestation.
People reported that Scottie Deem, 34, will spend two years and one day behind bars. Afterward, she’ll be allowed to serve the remainder of her 20-year sentence on probation.
A court spokesperson told Radar that Scottie will serve the three 20-year sentences—one for each count she pleaded guilty to—concurrently. Records obtained by the tabloid stated that she started her prison sentence on February 1.
Scottie was arrested for aggravated child molestation and aggravated sodomy in September 2017 after the victim’s grandmother contacted authorities. The initial charges were reduced before she pleaded guilty in November 2018.
Scottie was accused of having sex with a minor at her home two to three times between July 2017 and August 2017. Radar reported that the incidents occurred when Scottie’s boyfriend was out of town.
The victim was younger than 16 at the time and Scottie committed some of the sex crimes while in the presence of other juveniles, according to People.
Scottie appeared on several episodes of TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days” alongside her mother, Angela Deem, 53, as she navigated her relationship with her much-younger Nigerian boyfriend.
